The Saare golf course is a convenient 15-minute walk from Kuressaare’s town centre and its many attractions which include its famous medieval castle, beaches and numerous spas.

The 18-hole, Par 72, 6310-meter course was designed by the well known Finnish course architect Lassi Pekka Tilander to create a championship level course suitable for international tournaments.

The course is developed using today’s best technology and practices, and the course has been designed to meet all USGA standards. Its scenic, undulating fairways form a natural extension of Saaremaa’s unique wilderness.

Also included in the facility are a driving range, two par three holes, practice bunkers, putting and chipping greens.

The golf course opened with the first competition on August 15, 2008. For eleven seasons, the golf course has become one of the nicest golf facilities in Estonia. With the current course setup, every golfer, regardless of player level, has the opportunity to challenge himself and experience fun each round of play.

The golf course is known for its hospitality. Because there has always been enough free time on the tee sheet, everyone can play at own pace and, no one has to rush.

The Estonian Amateur Open has been held seven times in Saaremaa and once in the Estonian Stroke Championship

Owner of Saare golf course is Saare Golf OÜ.
